I like the band, and the food, and the band.... and volley tennis, but the band is great... ...and Conner Hartmen... ... if we could make a band that had Conner and food in it, and while they played music they ALSO played volley tennis... ... ...that would be ultimate... I getting pumped just thinking about it...

I am the mother of three children and three grandchildren. Most of you know Abby who is 14 and a freshman at Geneseo High School but she has two older brothers, Kurt, 32 and Tony, 30. Kurt and his wife Jill live in Schaumburg Illinois and have two girls Madeline, 5 and Emma 2. Tony and his wife Gabriella, from Venezuela, live in Orlando Florida with there one year old son Jack Diego. My husband Kent is an air traffic controller at Moline airport and is a private pilot. I know this is suppose to be about me but this is who I am. I love my family!
I listen to Focus on the Family on the way to work and laugh and cry every morning. I wish I had the ability to remember all the wonderful things I hear so that I could repeat them to everyone. But that is not who I am. I can’t memorize or tell stories, but that’s okay. God loves me anyway.
I am helping with the youth group because Abby is in it and I like to be involved in her life. So far she hasn’t asked me to go away. I really enjoy being around young people. They make me laugh, they are full of energy, I am constantly learning from them and I hope I am able to give something back to enrich in their lives.

I am excited to be a part of the senior high youth group this year! I have always served in children's ministry, but really like talking with jr. and senior highers. I know that teens have a lot that they have to deal with and to see them chart their course and make decisions according to God's Word, puts a smile on my face. I'd like to be a part of something so awesome! Thanks, Pastor Mike for asking me!
