Develop: Discipleship Part 2

This sermon is the second in our "Walk the Way Discipleship Journey" miniseries. Today we focus on the DEVELOP quadrant of our "4 Ds of Discipleship". Whereas the DECIDE quadrant focuses on two decisive decisions intended to occur in rapid succession, deciding to follow Jesus and deciding to obey Jesus in baptism, the DEVELOP quadrant is a lifelong process of becoming more like Jesus. We will focus on growing in Christ and growing in our knowledge of His Word. We will explore five facets of how we grow in Christ by developing a deeper relationship with God, a deeper connection to Jesus' church and to His people, a deeper lifestyle of worship and a deeper understanding of the Bible, God's Word. It's not about going farther or faster; it's all about going deeper.
