Viral: Part 63- Trusting in God

In Acts 22:30-Acts 23:11 the Roman Tribune, Lysias, continues to struggle to precisely determine the crime Paul is accused of committing. He decides to present Paul before the Jewish ruling council, the Sanhedrin, hoping to get answers so he can forward Paul's case to a higher-ranking Roman official. It's a good plan, but it's another epic fail! Paul is struck on the mouth, the Pharisees and Sadducees begin fighting, and we are left with many questions. Did Paul disrespect the High Priest? Did he manipulate the council and get them to fight one another? Did he blow his last opportunity to effectively witness to the Jewish leaders? It's a fast-moving drama that concludes with a quiet scene where Jesus meets with Paul, consoles him, and reassures him that he will bear witness in Rome.
