Viral: Part 1 - Intro to Acts

This week we begin our sermon series entitled Viral: A study of Acts. Acts is the story of how the church, a rag tag group of 120 believers in Jesus became a thriving church of a million people within less than a century. In this opening message we will look at several important introductory topics concerning the title, date, authorship, and key theme of this important book. We will also consider how not to and then how to study the Book of Acts. We will conclude by looking at five key statements made in verses 3-5 of Acts 1, concluding with a call to do the hard work of waiting on God.
