Viral: Part 4 - Pentecost Sunday

Jesus told the disciples to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes God comes with a still small voice, but the coming of the Holy Spirit was more like God's resting upon Mt. Sinai. It was loud. It was bright. This moment was intended to catch the imagination, signifying that God was doing something new. Three miraculous signs signaled this change and one of them, by its nature, facilitated the early spread of the gospel. Pentecost sets the stage for the rest of the events we see in the Book of Acts where the marvelous works of God are proclaimed throughout the known world.
