Viral: Part 19 - When There are Trouble-Makers

In Acts 6:8-15 we see that Stephen is performing signs and wonders like the apostles. He is the first to do so. Stephen meets opposition from a Jewish Synagogue of Greek-speaking Jewish converts called the "libertines." These men are freed slaves and defendants of slaves who are fierce defenders of Jewish law and tradition. They are instigators and rumormongers who erode Stephen's popularity with the crowds. Their dangerous activities set the stage for Stephen's martyrdom. In this message we will look at the profile of troublemakers including troublemakers in the church.
